WIZ KHALIFA & AMBER ROSE WORKING ON ALBUM
Hip-hop couple Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have announced plans to share the microphone and work on new music together in the near future.
While mum on the details, Wiz says to expect mystery involved with the collabo.
"We're working on some music for me, yeah," Amber Rose told Billboard.com on collaborating with Wiz Khalifa. "It's going to be mysterious," Wiz added. "It's going to be very mysterious," Amber Rose said. "You may not even know it's me. We might just throw it out there, might give it out and see what's up." Aside from working on Amber Rose's musical debut, Wiz is working on new music himself. "I'm also working on another album and stuff like that. Just chilling out, having fun, I just got done with touring." (Billboard)

Kanye West Welcomes D'banj To G.O.O.D. Music @ Koko Concert London
Fresh off the MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West surprised a London crowd with a performance and announcement as he welcomed D'banj into the G.O.O.D. Music family. In a moment that was reminiscent to his own induction to Roc-a-Fella, West also gave his new artist his G.O.O.D. Music chain in front of the crowd.
Before speaking about D'banj, who is a respected Nigerian singer-songwriter, West took the stage to perform "All of the Lights" with a harmonica backing. He then told the crowd, "I don't know if y'all heard or not, but D'banj is a new artist on G.O.O.D. Music."
As West took his chain off to hand to D'banj, the latest G.O.O.D. Music member bowed and hugged him. The moment may seem familiar to fans who have seen West's "Through the Wire" music video, where footage shows him receiving the Roc-a-Fella chain in front of a crowd when he was first signed.
D'banj's signing has been official for some time now, with the announcement first surfacing in June.
NICKI MINAJ, TYLER, THE CREATOR, BEYONCE, LIL WAYNE DOMINATE VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS '11
The annual Video Music Awards ceremoney exploded Sunday (August 28) night from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre courtesy of big wins from Nicki Minaj and Beyonce plus a show-ending Lil Wayne spectacle.
While rocker Katy Perry ultimately won "Video of the Year," hip-hop and R&B's presence was felt in other categories.
BEST NEW ARTIST: Tyler, the Creator "Yonkers," BEST HIP-HOP VIDEO: Nicki Minaj, "Super Bass," BEST CHOREOGRAPHY: Beyonce, "Run the World (Girls)," BEST VISUAL EFFECTS: Katy Perry featuring Kanye West, "E.T." ("Video Music Awards 2011")
The show was also highlighted by performances from singer Justin Bieber and Beyonce, who confirmed pregnancy reports.
Queen B made a splash of her own on the show, by performing her love song "Love On Top," off her Billboard 200 No. 1 album, "4." In a nod to her fresh pregnancy news, she declared, "I want you to feel the love growing inside of me." A spectacled Justin Bieber gave big ups to Jesus (and none to his girlfriend Selena Gomez) upon winning Best Male Video for "U Smile," topping heavyweights Cee Lo Green, Eminem, Bruno Mars and Kanye West. (Billboard)
Toward the end of the ceremony, a tribute to late singer Amy Winehouse was made.
During Sunday night's VMAs, MTV took time out to honor Amy Winehouse, opening the stage to admirers young and old. While the segment closed with a performance by pop star Bruno Mars, it was Tony Bennett who gave arguably the most moving tribute. "Of all the artists Ive met in the last 20 years, she was a true jazz artist in the tradition of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday," said Bennett, who recorded a song with Winehouse for his forthcoming 'Duets II' album. "You can't just be a jazz singer, either," Bennett added. "Either you've got it, or you haven't got it, and Amy had the whole gift." (Spinner)
The VMAs ended on an energetic note courtesy of Young Money's Lil Wayne.
Lil Wayne closed the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards by rocking out. The rapper, who is releasing his new album Tha Carter IV at midnight, gave a sensitive rendition of "How to Love" before stripping off his shirt and cranking up the energy with "John." He slapped skin with DJ Khaled and Rick Ross before strapping on an electric guitar and smashing it in defiance. (Rap-Up)
RICK ROSS CONFRONTS KREAYSHAWN BACKSTAGE AT THE VMAS
Kreayshawn got dealt wit’ last night for disrespecting the big homie Rick Ross. They had bumped into one another backstage at the Video Music Awards (VMA) and the beef was on. Ross crew pushed up on Kreayshawn crew.
Both, Kreayshawn and Rozay played their part as bosses and stayed at a comfortable distance from one another. Ross and Kreayshawn bodyguard, Stretch had some choice words, but then Ross calmed himself down and sent one of his goons over to deal with the situation.
Soon after MTV security team stepped in and escorted Kreayshawn’s crew off the platform. If you wondering what all the beef is about, well earlier in the month she was freestylin’ on the Cosmic Kev Come Up Show when she said, “You tryna play me like a boss/ But you faker than Rick Ross/ I’ll f*ckin’ cut ya’ d*ck off!”
This line rubbed the bawse the wrong way and caused an altercation when he met up with her backstage at the VMA’s.

DRAKE'S PACKING 'SPECTACULAR' RECORDS ON SOPHOMORE LP
While Young Money's Drake is still putting together his forthcoming Take Care album, friend/producer Boi-1da promises fans can anticipate even bigger records than his recent "Headlines" single.
While Boi feels "Headlines" may have received mixed reactions, he promises Take Care will offer plenty for Drizzy lovers.
"I've been working on Drake's second album, Take Care. The sh*t sounds amazing," Boi promised in an interview. "I've also been working on ... I did a track with 50 Cent. I got like a lot of stuff, and every time somebody asks me this question I freeze up. Busta Rhymes, I got a couple of tracks for his new album. Um ... a lot of people, I just, I don't know why I can't remember right now...[Drake's] got like a lot of good songs on the album. 'Headlines' is a dope record. And, it does what it does. Some people like it, some people don't...It's a fun song; it's catchy. It goes hard. But Drake has a lot of songs on his album that are spectacular." (Hip Hop)
In addition to recently promising Stevie Wonder would appear on the LP, he also said fellow Canadian artist The Weeknd is present on his 2010 Thank Me Later follow-up.
"Not only did he inspire me to get out there and sing better on stage, he inspired me writing wise, music wise, just to better my product," Drake explained in an interview. "He's on my album a lot. We really collaborated a lot on this album...He's one of the greatest artists I've ever heard. To hear someone with an incredible body of work is very rare. It's very inspiring. We formed OVOXO, which is taking over right now. I'm proud of him. He works real hard. He's just an incredible person, [has] become a really close friend to me." (The Juice)
Earlier this summer, Drake hinted at Weeknd's presence on his upcoming LP
BIRDMAN WANTS A MILLI FIRST WEEK SALES FOR"CARTER IV"
Cash Money Records co-owner Birdman has high expectations for Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV album by revealing the label's decision to ship two million units in its opening week.
Although the LP is not available until today August 29th, Birdman aka Baby said Cash Money has retailers covered.
Cash Money delivered Carter IV to Universal about 10 days in advance, which Williams says was necessary to press the two million units being shipped in its first week. "The goal is to sell a million-plus copies," he explains. Although that's likely what led to Carter IV breaking free, Williams says he's actually OK with leaks, to a point. "I can deal with it for short period of time," he says. It's when you have a leak out for a long time that it's crazy." (Rolling Stone)
Weezy's new album features guest spots from hip-hop stars like Rick Ross, Jadakiss, T-Pain and more.
1. Intro 2. Blunt Blowin 3. MegaMan 4. 6 Foot 7 Foot (Feat. Cory Gunz) 5. Nightmares Of The Bottom 6. She Will (Feat. Drake) 7. How To Hate (Feat. T-Pain) 8. Interlude (Feat. Tech N9ne) 9. John (Feat. Rick Ross) 10. Abortion 11. So Special (Feat. John Legend) 12. How To Love 13. President Carter 14. Its Good (Feat. Drake & Jadakiss) 15. Outro (Feat. Bun B, Nas, Shyne & Busta Rhymes) (Tha Carter IV)
Despite previous pushbacks, the rapper's manager Cortez Bryant recently promised August 29th would be Carter IV's final date.
After many push backs, Bryant tells Billboard there will be no more, "August 29, it's not changing." "He put the mixtape and the album in my hand the same day. He turned it in [to me] yesterday," Bryant tells Billboard. "It's done for the most part, [around] thirty songs [that] I need to carve down to twelve to sixteen, with four or so bonus tracks." So much for those unofficial track listings floating around, aye? Bryant confirmed Nas, Jadakiss and Tech N9ne will appear on "Tha Carter IV." (Billboard)
Young Money's Gudda Gudda recently spoke to SO about the LP living up to 2008's triple platinum Tha Carter III.
"I think it's going to be big and I'm not just saying that because he's my homie," Gudda Gudda told SO when asked about the delayed project. "I'm just being honest. I think it's going to be big and it can match up to what Tha Carter III did. The expectations are really big and it's going to be really big for hip-hop when it finally comes out."

ME & DRE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM & OUR RELATIONSHIP HAS NEVER CHANGED" ......GAME
After reuniting with Aftermath Records CEO Dr. Dre for his new R.E.D. Album, Game has clarified past reports suggesting they previously had a beef brewing between one another.
Despite having not worked alongside Dre since his 2005 Documentary debut, Game said they never clashed.
"Me and Dre never had a problem and our relationship has never changed," Game said in an interview. "He just stepped when we were doing the whole beef thing, as he should have. I didn't understand it at the time, because I was little bit younger, but in retrospect as I grew wiser in the game, I began to understand his position. He had already had a lot of beef in his career and he didn't want to have any part of our melee, so he stepped to the side. When it was time to have a conversation about it, we did. When it was time to get back in the studio, we did as well." (Baller Status)
Game recruited Dre to help narrate his entire R.E.D. Album LP.
"The album is real theatrical; it's a movie," Game said. "And it's narrated by Dr. Dre -- the entire album." Dre, who originally signed Game to his Aftermath label and oversaw the rapper's debut, The Documentary, has played a limited role in the rapper's career since Game's fallout with 50 Cent, who is also signed to Dre's Aftermath. Since then, the West Coast production icon hasn't contributed beats or vocals to any of Game's subsequent albums. And though the two have since reconciled and have been spotted in the studio together, this will mark the first time that they've actually collaborated on album-worthy material. (RapFix)
In 2009, West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg said he reunited Game and Dre.
"Yeah, actually, we working on the Detox album right now," Snoop revealed in a fall 2009 interview. "Actually, me and Dr. Dre and D.O.C. and Stat Quo, we in there every day trying to go hard, I came and called Game up so he could come and be a part of this particular record that Dre had that was needing his vocals and needed his assistance on. We just trying to bring it all back together again. One thing about me, I've always been known to bring people together to solidify relationship. It's about what we can do, not what we did. So we doing some things to try and bring this movement back, so that's what this picture was about. It was about symbolizing the West Coast movement..." (Big Boy's Neighborhood)
Two years ago, Game also revealed his return to working with the Doc.
"R.E.D., I'm just painting the whole world red," Game promised in an interview with DJ Green Lantern. "It's basically the re-dedication, it's my most hood and street album since The Documentary so it's basically being rededicated to my fans, my family, my kids, my block, my hood. Like, hip-hop, the R.E.D. Album is gonna be crazy. I'm back in with Dre everyday going hard in the studio doing the little stuff, working on Detox with him and he's working on The R.E.D. Album with me. It's just, we got a good feeling out here...I did my last two albums without Dre and even though, I just did it on my own man. When I talked to him, he [was like] I've been doing a good job and he took a listen and I did my thing. I learned well, my time at Aftermath was spent well, so getting back in, that old feeling came back. The chemistry is crazy, I got a lot of love for that dude and that's why I never really disrespected him or really went at Aftermath, I only did what I had to do to survive man, but I got love for dude and we back in grindin' man." (That's Hip Hop)
GAME THINKS JAY-Z'S SHOOK
West Coast rapper Game's frequent Jay-Z talk continues this week as he offers his take on why the rap mogul is ultimately opting out of engaging him in a rap beef.
In Game's eyes, Jay's current high profile status in hip-hop will not allow him to engage in a beef.
"I don't think Jay wants that. Jay is too reserved and too iconic in his career to battle me. I'm reckless and I'm psycho on the mic, so I can say anything. There are only certain things he can really say, you know what I'm saying?" (Baller Status)
The rapper also considered what his reaction would be if Jay did go at him.
"I would slay him," Game added. "I just think that at this stage in his career, his lyrics would have to be sanctioned. There's only so far he can go with where he's at now. Me, I can go to h*ll and back with my lyrics, so I don't think it's wise for him to respond, but I respect Jay lyrically. I always have and I always will. It's just that the facts weigh in, I got a reckless tongue and it's not to be f*cked with."
AMBER ROSE'S TWITTER PAGE HACKED, "WIZ KHALIFA, F*CK YOU YOU B*TCH A** N*GGA! IT'S OVER"
Video vixen Amber Rose has become the latest celebrity victim to have her Twitter page temporarily hacked and infested with libelous tweets.
Rose hit up Twitter early Saturday (August 27) to clear the air.
"OMG! Someone Hacked my twitter!!! Changing password now Sorry Rosebuds," she tweeted. (Amber Rose's Twitter)
Prior to deleting the tweets, the hacker's messages called out her current boyfriend/rapper Wiz Khalifa.
"@RealWizKhalifa f*ck you you b*tch a** n*gga ! Its over. U aint sh*t, just like that @kanyewest b*tch a** ! #n*ggasaintsh*t #backtogirls4me."

PRODIGY PUTS DEADLINE ON MOBB DEEP LP
Mobb Deep's Prodigy has provided an update for Infamous fans hoping to snatch up new material from him and Havoc, promising a new LP will be out before 2012.
While mum on details, P said expect to see producer Alchemist on the new project.
"We'll be dropping the single for the [new] album soon," P said in an interview with Bootleg Kev. "That's the only thing we're focusing on right now, the Mobb Deep album -- it'll be [available] before the new year. We ain't letting nothing out the bag [with features] - just know, it's that hard sh*t...[Alchemist], Havoc, the home team, you know? Mobb Deep, you know how we always do it." (Bootleg Kev)
Recently, Havoc talked to SO about how the LP will be released.
"I'm all about getting into any situation that makes money, you understand what I'm saying," Hav told SOHH when asked if Mobb Deep is headed indie. "So I wouldn't just be like, 'Oh no, indie is this and major is that.' You can sign to an indie and it could wind up being structured like a major deal and you won't make any money, any way. Artists beware. People are quick to say, 'Oh yeah, I'm doing indie.' If the deal's not structured right, it could get structured just like a major and you won't see no f*cking bread. I'm into getting into anything that makes money." (SO)
In April, Havoc revealed plans to put out the new Mobb Deep record by late summer.
"I feel that we've been in the business long enough to totally know what to do," he said in an interview. "The whole thing right now is to really capitalize on our talent and what we do instead of having all these major labels take, take, take. We might as well reap the rewards of our success." Havoc said the eight- to 10-song EP, which the group plans to call Mobb Deep, will drop in August and will be the first Mobb Deep project released since Prodigy was released from prison in March. "Sometimes you have to man up and do you your own thing. We can do this. We've been in the game for years, so it's like, 'Let's do it. The time is now.'" (MTV)
Over the spring, Prodigy talked to SO about strengthening up his lyrics while serving time behind bars.
"While in jail, I wrote about 210 songs. It's about 20 albums worth of material. Most of them aren't even recorded yet. Since I've been home, [I've recorded] 65 to 70 songs. And then there's brand new stuff that I wrote and recorded after I came home...There was a time where I felt I was slipping a little bit with the lyrics. I started feeling myself a lot and then started getting real lazy. So when I got locked up, I was like, "You know what, I gotta fix this sh*t," because I was headed down the wrong road. And that's not the way I'm trying to go at all."

SCARFACE RETURNS TO GRIND MODE AFTER 10 MONTH JAIL
Initially starting out as speculation earlier this week, Face Mob's release has been confirmed.
After 10 months behind bars for failure to pay child support, Scarface was recently released from Harris County Jail in Texas and is now prepping an album for the end of the year, a rep for the Houston rapper confirmed to MTV News. It was also reported that the "I Seen a Man Die" MC was being held on unspecified federal charges, but MTV News has not been able to confirm that information. (MTV)
Reports of Scarface's charges emerged online earlier this year.
The former Geto Boys leader has since been moved to Harris County Jail as of last week where he is being held for two active child support warrants totaling $123,372. He also faces two other child support charges as well as charges from the federal government. According to police documents obtained byXXLmag.com, bonds have been set on all four cases--one for $93,376, a second one for $50,000, another for $30,000 and the last one was set at $500. As of press time it is unclear how much longer Facemob is expected to spend behind bars, but a media relations rep for Harris County's 7th precinct told XXL that he will be held until these women accusing him of not paying child support are compensated to some capacity. (XXL Mag)
Scarface's last Twitter messages date back to late September.
"This n*gga is crazy @zromocitydon like Richard Pryor," Face tweeted September 25th, 2010.
"Go follow Zro @Zromocitydon"
"@ifuxwitcstone too loooooong I'm finns lay it down" (Scarface's Twitter)
In 2010, Scarface talked about wanting to re-make KRS-One's 1987 rap album, Criminal Minded.
"I haven't really came to the conclusion yet of what I'm gonna do with it, but I know for a fact that I'm remaking '9mm Goes Bang' along with 'Poetry' and sh*t like that," he revealed in an interview. "I just feel like - and it's not for a personal gain, it's a respect thing. I'm [paying respect by remaking] [KRS-One's] whole f*cking sh*t. I feel like he deserves that compliment. Like muthaf*ckas forget where it came from, man. I remember growing up in junior high school, and like my first couple years that I spent in high school, I f*cking had that rhyme scheme. I wrote my rhymes like that [mumbles c
JADAKISS ADDRESSES LIL WAYNE'S JAY-Z DISS, "LEAVE ME OUT OF IT"
The LOX's Jadakiss has stepped forward to disassociate himself from Lil Wayne's "I'm Good" record, despite appearing on it, which takes shots at Jay-Z.
Hitting up Twitter, Kiss said his verse was submitted 90 days ago.
"RT @LeRonCrowd: F*ck that sh*t Wayne&Drake was talkin bout!So we gon act like @Therealkiss Didn't Kill that ...http://tmi.me/eWlBl," Kiss tweeted August 24th.
"Yall hating a** c*cksuckers better chill..they only sent me a track wit NO verses and I recorded that verse 3 months ago! #leavemeoutofit"
"When I DISS n*ggas or have a problem Wit ANY RAPPER I SAY THere NAMES without hesitation and YALL know this already!"
"On my way back to NY,pardon the outburst but N*ggas Know Better! #anybodycangetit" (Jadakiss' Twitter)
LIL WAYNE COMES CLEAN ON JAY-Z DISS
Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has come forward to address his new "I'm Good" Carter IV record and admit he is unfazed by the hype surrounding the shota fired at Jay-Z.
While he acknowledges the song's post-release impact, Weezy said there is no looking back now.
"I know there won't be any repercussions behind what I did," says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for 'It 's Good.' "I know for a fact music is about perception. You can't do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can't ever be upset about someone's reaction." Wayne added that while he understands the intrigue and buzz behind the record, it's just another song. "I'm not going to say I don't know what would happen before I even say [something on record]," he explains. "I do know what will happen. I'm aware of it. But it is what it is." (VIBE)

LIL WAYNE FIRES SHOTS AT JAY-Z ON LEAKED TRACK SAYS HE WILL KIDNAP BEYONCE
Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne appears to still have a grudge against Jay-Z after Birdman got checked with a "Baby Money" reference earlier this year.
On Tha Carter IV track "It's Good," Weezy directly responds to the line.
"Talkin' 'bout baby money, I gotcha baby money," Wayne raps. "Kidnap your b*tch get that how much you love your lady money / I know you fake, n*gga / Press your brakes, n*gga / I'll take you out, that's a date, n*gga / I'm a grown a** blood, stop playing with me / Play a**hole, and get an a** whippin' / I think you pussycat, hello kitty." ("It's Good")
In March, Wayne offered his initial take of Jay's "Baby Money" reference from "H.A.M."
According to Weezy, who heard the track personally throughKanye West, he isn't looking to start another competition with Jay. Wayne told MTV News that he didn't ask 'Ye about the alleged dig: "I wouldn't ask him about a Jay-Z line because he's not Jay-Z." That doesn't mean Wayne wouldn't respond to the line, even if he hasn't returned fire just yet. "Me and my wit, given my wit, I would probably play off of it," Wayne explained. "But I wouldn't make it a competition, because actually, the subject that he's talking about in that line, I can't box with the card. I'd be the first one to tell you that, given my wit, and the type of person that I am, I'd capitalize and I'd play off of it. Yeah, I definitely would."
To refresh your memory here’s the lyrics that Jay-Z said about Wayne,
“These rappers rap about all the sh*t that I do rarely/ I’m like really half a billie n*gga/ Really you got baby money/ Keep it real with n*ggas, N*ggas aint got my lady money”
Here’s what Lil Wayne had to say in response,
“Talkin’ ‘bout baby money, I got your baby money/Kidnap your b-tch, Get that ‘how much you love your lady?’ money. I know you fake nicca, press ur brakes nicca! I’ll take u out! That’s a date nicca!”
Baby previously spoke to radio host Big Boy and downplayed Jay's "Baby Money" line.
Jay-Z earned $63 million dollars last year, tops on our list of hip-hop's top earners, while Lil Wayne banked $20 million. Birdman did not make the list. Perhaps the best line on Jay-Z's new track is a verifiable and, one might say progressive, boast: "(You) ain't got my lady's money!" Indeed, Beyonce took in a whopping $87 million by our last annual count, more than any rapper -- and more than Jay-Z and Lil Wayne combined. (Forbes)

TERROR SQUAD LEAD MAN FAT JOE LOST 88 POUNDS
With Terror Squad leader Fat Joe's name remaining in the headlines for his massive weight loss this summer, the Bronx, New York rapper admits the buzz has even caught him off guard.
According to Joe, his 88 pound loss has even caught the attention of CNN (Cable News Network).
"I'm not trying to impress nobody or nothing like that," Joe told MTV News. "I'm just trying to get healthy so I can be here for my family and take care of my kids and live the life that was intended for me to live, so it was crazy when I started getting all this attention. Two weeks from now, CNN is coming to my house, Sanjay Gupta, a big special, and all this attention is crazy." (MTV)
Former "Celebrity Fit Club" contestant Kimbereley Locke recently talked to SOHH about rappers like Fat Joe shaking the weight.
"Wow, I didn't even know about that. I'm going to have to read about it. I think we should all try to be a little bit healthier," Locke told SOHH when told about Fat Joe's massive weight loss. "Especially in the [entertainment] industry where so many people are watching us and we're role models for so many people and so many kids. Listen, if you ask ten people in the street who their heroes are, nine times out of ten they're going to name a celebrity. People really do look to celebrities to set the role. I think it's fantastic that people are getting in control of their health and taking better care of themselves."
GAME RECALLS JAY-Z'S COLD HARD ADVICE
After his recent admission to a bad first encounter with Jay-Z incited his anger toward him, West Coast rapper Game details what exactly ticked him off to assume his anti-Hov position since the mid-2000's.
According to Game, Jay told him most hip-hop newcomers like himself would not have a successful music career.
Big Boy continued to press for more details on what Jay actually said that was so offensive. Game tried to avoid the question, replying, "I'll tell you off air, anybody else who wants to know, just follow me on Twitter and ask me," but eventually he gave in and wrote the answer on a piece of paper. Apparently, Game figured that with someone else reading it out loud, it was less likely to "stir up something crazy." According to Game's hand-scribbled note, this is the response, from Jay-Z, that triggered a few years worth of mudslinging: "Most of you new rappers won't last long anyway, maybe you should think of another lane." (Hip Hop DX)
In early August, Game revealed that meeting Jay for the first time is what ultimately turned him sour.
"I had it like that he was just a great dude. I grew up off of all Jay's albums, and when I finally met him and he was just, I don't know, he was overly cocky," Game explained in an interview. "The way that he played fans - and I'm not saying it to say he's the same person now, that was like seven years ago - this is my own personal experience, so it's not to make anyone hate Jay-Z. It turned me left. Ever since then, I've been taking little potshots here and there, it's nothing personal." (Jam N 945)
A week prior, Game said Jay's catchy name made it easy to use in rhyme schemes.
"'Jay' rhymes with a lot of words," Game said in an interview. "So whenever you're writing, it always pops in somehow or another. I shoot shots in the dark sometimes, but they ain't to be taken personal...Certain people you know that ain't gonna respond -- I don't think Hov is gonna respond, and if he does, it'll be another shot in the dark subliminally or indirect, and I think that's coolbecause Hov is a legend." (MTV)
On the new "Uncle Otis" record, Game goes after Jay's neck and also warns Kanye West about working with him.
"Here's a dome shot to this n*gga named Otis/ N*ggas think they the coldest, but n*gga you just the oldest/ N*ggas just be chasin' their youth, but it's gone/ Yo 'Ye this n*gga ain't even wanna put you on." ("Uncle Otis")

WILL & JADA ISSUE JOINT STATEMENT "WE ARE STILL TOGETHER"
After hours of speculation over a report that strife between Jada and Will had led to a separation the couple has finally issued a joint statement.
This is the third denial of the day after Will’s son Trey first tweeted the reports were false, Then after the rumor mill was further ignited by talk that Jada may have been caught creepin’ with her “Hawthorne” co-star Marc Anthony, Jada’s publicist did her part to shut down talk of a Skeletor chopdown: “Everything about the Marc Anthony story is completely false, but we are not commenting on whether they are separating or not,” Pinkett Smith’s publicist Karynne Tencer told Entertainment Tonight.
And now the Smiths have issued their joint statement to Entertainment Weekly:
“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact.” says Will Smith & Jada Pinkett
Hoooooooooooray! There’s still hope for marriage guys so go on and get married.

`MR.STEAL YUR GURL` TREY SONGZ REVEALS NEW ALBUM TITLE
I got the latest scoop on Trey’s latest album title. Following up to a recent interview done by Glamazons, Trey Songz has revealed the title of his 5th studio album, "Chapter 5". I am still not sure when it will drop but you will all be the first to know.
GJ: What can we expect from you in the future? You’ve done music, fashion, fragrances, what’s next?
TS: Whatever God has planned for me. It’s all about hard work and determination. Every year has been better than my last and every album [has done] better than my last. I’m embarking on new endeavors every chance I get.
I just did Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3-D coming out next year. I’m working on a new album entitled Chapter 5. Music will always be my first love. I’m going to South Africa and I’m elated about it. I’m taking my mother and family. That trip will be very instrumental in what this next album will be.
JAY-Z BREAKS DOWN "WATCH THE THRONE" MEANING
With his new joint Watch the Throne album selling out in stores, Grammy-winning rapper Jay-Z has opened up on the project's overall purpose.
Breaking down the album's title, Young Hov said this is his and Kanye West's aim to keep hip-hop dominant.
"It's just protecting the music and the culture, like, it's people that's in the forefront of the music," Jay told radio host Lorenzo Thomas. "It's like, 'Watch the throne,' protect it. You just watch how popular music shift and how hip-hop has basically replaced rock n roll as the youth music. The same thing could happen to hip-hop. It could be replaced by other forms of music. So it's just like making sure we're putting that effort in making the best product, so we can contend with all these other music. With all dance music that's dominating the charts right now, indie music that's dominating the festivals and still holding off rock n roll. Just to hold our place and make sure -- the hip-hop culture is still the most dominant form of music around the world."
Asked about the possibility of swagger jackers copying their format, Jay gladly said he hoped hip-hop artists would follow in their footsteps.
"Anything that has success is gonna be emulated," Jay added. "That's the reason why we went down this road. We went down this road to make a great album but also to make a statement for this culture."
Along with getting projected to top its competition, Jay's new LP pushed close to 500,000 units after its first week.
The Roc-a-Fella/Roc Nation hip-hop icons' Watch the Throne album is set for a #1 debut with anywhere from 500-550k, the second-largest first-week sales of the year next to Lady Gaga.

GAME WORKING ON NEXT ALBUM, AS HIS "R.E.D" ALBUM DROPS TODAY
While Game may be known for name-dropping rap stars like Jay-Z and 50 Cent in his music, the West Coast artist is reportedly ditching his signature tendency on the R.E.D. Album LP follow-up.
Keeping detaiis to a minimum, contributing producer Mars said Game is solely focusing on the music.
"Me and Game was in the studio yesterday," Mars revealed. "We did two songs. That's coming along crazy. We're going to have no features: It's just him rapping. No name dropping, no little things people say is cliché about Game. It's just putting on the boxing gloves and going for what we know." (MTV)
A few days ago, Game revealed his in-studio sessions alongside Mars.
"@MYGUYMARS N W @THEGAME ON ALBUM #5 & RedAlbum aint even n stores yet @1500orNOTHING @Rance1500 @BRODYTHEGREAT @Myguymars #LASTALBUM," he tweeted last week. (Game's Twitter)
The West Coast rapper recently defended his decision to name drop on tracks.
"What kills me is that people pretend or act like they don't know what Game is about," says the rapper, born Jayceon Taylor. "I'm never changing. [The] only thing that will change is that I evolve as a man, and get [wiser], become more full of life as far as my family and everything is concerned, [and] maybe a more seasoned MC. But the core of who I am is not changing. So the shot in the dark at Jay or whoever on 'Uncle Otis,' you might get another one in six months or a year."
